General SEO Questions

90% of online experiences begin with a search engine, so your business should try as hard as possible to be present for every search your potential customers might make. Ideally your business should be present in organic listings and paid advertising for all of these searches, so that you're top of mind when they're ready to make a buying decision. In our experience working with SaaS and e-commerce companies, businesses that invest in both SEO and paid advertising see a 30–50% higher close rate than those relying on a single channel.

60% of B2B SaaS & e-commerce marketers state that SEO generates more leads than any other marketing channel. Meanwhile most SaaS & e-commerce businesses focus primarily on paid advertising because it's easier to scale up spend and have immediate results. At Rank Booster, we offer both services because we believe in immediate results from paid advertising AND investing in the long-term organic growth and sustainability that SEO provides. Our clients who run both in parallel typically see a 2–3x improvement in marketing ROI within 12 months.

70% of online marketers describe content marketing as their most effective SEO tactic, and it's no different for us. We help our customers prioritize, create, optimize, update, and promote their content using our proprietary processes and machine learning algorithm. This algorithm helps cluster, batch, and prioritize keyword targets your business already ranks for and should rank for — giving you a data-driven content roadmap instead of guessing what to write about next.

Based on our experience across hundreds of campaigns, most clients begin seeing measurable improvements within 90–120 days for Tier 1, 60–90 days for Tier 2, and 30–60 days for Tier 3. SEO is a compounding investment — the longer you invest, the stronger your results become. Unlike paid advertising, where traffic stops when you stop spending, SEO builds a durable organic asset that continues generating leads month over month.

Three things set us apart: (1) We specialize exclusively in SaaS and e-commerce companies, so we deeply understand the buying journey and conversion funnels unique to these industries. (2) We use a proprietary machine learning algorithm for keyword clustering and content prioritization — not just spreadsheets. (3) We charge flat-rate fees, never a percentage of ad spend, which means our incentives are aligned with your results, not your budget.

Ongoing Support includes all of the various ongoing items for your SEO project to be a success and to keep everything on track. It's made up of ongoing consulting calls and videos, Slack access so you can ask questions in real-time, project management so you can see where you are in the project, reporting so you can see your results, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) intended to keep your project on track and align our efforts with your quarterly initiatives.

Production is the "meat and potatoes" of your SEO project where we begin producing high-quality content for your site and building authoritative backlinks so your content ranks better in search. We also provide Technical Optimization as a part of your production budget if this is something you need help with — including site speed optimization, crawlability improvements, and schema markup implementation.

The major differences are the volume of content, links, and optimization effort. Tier 1 (Growth) includes 2 content assets per quarter and 150 backlinks — perfect for companies just starting. Tier 2 (Scale) doubles that to 4 assets and 275 backlinks, plus adds Schema Optimization and CRO. Tier 3 (Enterprise) goes further with 7 assets, 375 backlinks, and includes A/B testing and Bing optimization. View our detailed tier comparison on the pricing page.

Tier 1 (Growth) at $950/mo is ideal for startups and companies just getting started with SEO, typically in the $1–20M ARR range. Tier 2 (Scale) at $1,500/mo is our most popular option for mid-market companies ($20–100M ARR) ready to aggressively grow. Tier 3 (Enterprise) at $2,300/mo is designed for enterprise companies ($100M+ ARR) that need maximum coverage. All plan sizes have helped clients dominate their markets — we've had clients in the Growth plan go on to be acquired by public companies.

No — and we know that's very different from many agencies. We take a flat service fee for setup, optimization, management, and reporting. This means our incentives are always aligned with your performance, never with increasing your budget. We also offer discounts if you package paid search and paid social together, and another discount if you combine any paid projects with SEO.

Absolutely. All of our plan sizes have helped clients of all sizes dominate their markets. We've had several clients in the Growth plan go on to dominate their category, or be acquired by a public company. Our plans are set up to scale from one to the next as your company grows so you never hit a plateau.

Results & ROI

3 questions

ROI varies by industry and competitive landscape, but our clients typically see a 3–5x return on their SEO investment within the first 12–18 months. For example, a mid-market SaaS client on our Scale plan saw organic traffic grow 247% in 12 months, generating an additional $2.4M in pipeline. SEO compounds over time — your Year 2 results will be dramatically better than Year 1, while your investment stays flat.

Every client gets Monthly SEO Insights Reporting with keyword tracking in Bright Edge, organic traffic analysis, conversion tracking, and competitor benchmarking. We also conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) where we align our SEO strategy with your business goals, review results, and plan the next quarter's priorities. You'll always have full visibility into what we're doing and the results we're driving.

Unlike paid advertising where traffic stops immediately when you stop spending, SEO results have residual value. Content you've published and links you've built don't disappear. However, search algorithms evolve and competitors continue investing, so rankings will gradually decline without ongoing optimization. We recommend a minimum 6-month commitment to see meaningful, durable results — and 12+ months for category domination.

Technical & Services

4 questions

Yes — we use data intelligence from our SEO keyword research to vastly improve targeting and optimization of ads and landing pages, which increases targeting accuracy, reduces spend, and boosts conversion rates. We also use conversion data gathered from paid advertising to inform SEO asset investment priorities. The packages are very synergistic, which is why we offer everything under one roof and provide discounts for bundled services.

No, we don't currently offer whitelabeling. However, if you want to join our partner program, we refer out work for services we don't offer and provide referral commissions on any business we close from referrals sent to us. This allows agencies and consultants to expand their service offerings without the overhead of building an in-house SEO team.

We use enterprise-grade tools including Bright Edge for keyword tracking and competitive analysis, our proprietary machine learning algorithm for content clustering and prioritization, plus industry-standard tools for technical auditing, backlink analysis, and conversion tracking. All clients get access to real-time dashboards so you can monitor your campaign's performance at any time.

After signing up, we begin with a comprehensive SEO audit and roadmap creation within the first 2 weeks. This includes technical site analysis, competitive landscape review, keyword opportunity mapping, and content gap analysis. By week 3, we present your customized SEO roadmap and begin executing on the highest-impact items first. You'll have a dedicated project manager and Slack access from day one.

Getting Started

3 questions

To begin, we need: (1) Access to your Google Analytics and Google Search Console, (2) Your top business goals and target markets, (3) A list of your top 3–5 competitors, and (4) Access to your CMS for content optimization. We handle everything else — from keyword research to content creation to link building. Most clients are fully onboarded within 2 weeks.

We believe in earning your business every month, not locking you into rigid contracts. We recommend a minimum 6-month engagement to see meaningful SEO results (since the compounding nature of SEO takes time), but we don't penalize early termination. Our client retention rate exceeds 90% because we consistently deliver measurable results.

Absolutely. Our plans are designed to scale with your business. Many clients start with Tier 1 (Growth) and upgrade to Tier 2 (Scale) within 6–12 months as they see results and want to accelerate. Downgrades are also possible if your needs change. We'll always recommend the plan that best fits your current goals and budget during our Quarterly Business Reviews.
